U-21 Championship
Sun 21st Nov O'Mahony's 0-11 Seneschalstown 0-10
Navan O'Mahonys hung on for victory in an exciting u-21 FC final against Seneschalstown at Pairc Tailteann on Sunday.
The action flowed from end-to-end and even erupted at the interval when both teams descended on the same entrance to the dressing rooms and the stewards intervened, belatedly.
Paddy Smyth's point with six minutes remaining ultimately proved decisive as he flashed the ball over the bar when a goal was definitely on the cards.
U-21 Championship
Sun 7th Nov Wolfe Tones 1-8 Seneschalstown 2-10
SENESCHALSTOWN booked a place in a third successive u-21 FC final following Joe Sheridan's inspirational semi-final display against Wolfe Tones at Pairc Tailteann on Sunday afternoon.
Sheridan was outstanding throughout and contributed a personal tally of 1-7, but he also added much more to his team's overall display as he grafted at midfield and defended when necessary.
U-21 Championship
Sun 3rd Oct St. Colmcilles 0-5 Seneschalstown 3-9
Seneschalstown comfortably disposed of St. Colmcille's at Donore on Sunday with 11 of the side that lost out to Summerhill after a replay in last year's decider.
Seneschalstown made a great start after just 15 seconds when Joe Sheridan netted and Barry Clarke's goal near half-time effectively ended the game as a contest.
The Yellow Furze side opened up a 2-6 to 0-4 interval lead.
