Seneschalstown lead from start to finish as they earned themselves a comfortable victory over St. Patrick’s on Friday night in the opening round of Meath LGFA Minor Championship. Manager Anthony Monaghan will be impressed by this display from the team as they picked off scores regularly, before three goals in the final quarter put a gloss on the scoreline in a game played in damp conditions.

The storied history of Seneschalstown and the Meath LGFA Senior Championship continued on Sunday evening in Dunganny as the Ladies team booked their place in yet another decider after a terrific comeback victory over Division 1 League Champions Oldcastle. Trailing by five points at half time, the team used the elements to their advantage in the second half to post 2-13 of their final tally, and win out by five points as the skies darkened over the Meath Centre of Excellence.
