This fifth round match in the girls under 12 championship played in ideal conditions in Seneschalstown on Friday last, was much tighter than the final scoreline suggests, it was only in the last ten minutes of the game that the Gaels pulled clear to gain a good victory over very tough opposition.

On a very breezy Saturday afternoon the Under 12 competition began for Seneschalstown against Oldcastle at home. This game used the fair play rule with 13 a-side. It was a well fought after game from both sides and there was a strong breeze. The home team started well with a goal from Tara Hanlon and then Oldcastle replied with five unanswered points. This left it at 1-0 to 1-0 to 1-6 to Oldcastle at the break.

Seneschalstown under-12 girls were victorious over Skyrne in a very entertaining match in Dunganny on Sunday last. Skyrne opened the scoring with two fine points when Amy Gilsenan made a run from midfield and scored Seneschalstown's opening goal.
She quickly added another 2 points. Further scores from Stacey Grimes left Seneschalstown 3 point ahead at the break.
