Meath Ladies U-15 Division 2 League Round 2

Seneschalstown 9-11 St. Michaels 0-06

With St. Michaels making the trip to Kentstown with depleted numbers on Thursday evening the Seneschalstown girls took to the field with 12 players a side and dominated the game from the start.

They played exceptional football winning their individual battles all over the field, great support play and some excellent link up play between the midfielders and forwards while the backs gave nothing away in this very one-sided affair. The Furze girls scored some fantastic goals that put the game to bed by half time.

St. Michaels came back into the game in the second half but the damage had been done on the scoreboard by then. A devastating display by the girls to record their first win of the new campaign after drawing last week with Oldcastle.

Seneschalstown: Shauna Gordon, Aine Nangle, Leanne Clarke, Aoibhe Monaghan, Lauren McCarthy, Caragh Monaghan (1-1), Aoife Lenihan (0-1), Lauren Donnelly (0-3), Orla Finnegan (1-01), Ava Jane Ryan (4-03), Mallaidh Breen (3-01), Aoife Mulvany (0-1), Sadhbh McLarney, Sinead McLarney
