The East Meath side though turned in a dominant display in the second half. A late consolation goal by Aoibhe Monaghan reduced the sizable gap but it wasn’t enough to haul back the Cilles girls. No doubt these teams will be close to the top of the pile by the business end of the league and hopefully our girls will have their say then.

It was Sorcha Gough 3rd game in 3 days after playing with Loreto on Saturday, Meath U-14’s yesterday and she put in a huge effort. Well done to all our players on a very committed performance tonight and they will be eager for more action next Saturday afternoon when they face four games in the Meath Féile. Next time girls.
