General Meeting: Between the Adult, Ladies and Juvenile sections of the club there are 24 sides who take to the playing fields of Meath every year representing themselves, their families and their parish.

With this massive number of sides there can be great difficulty in getting a time where our pitch is free for a match to be played.

After much discussion it has been decided that we must make progress on developing our playing grounds. Hence there will be a General Meeting in the clubhouse this evening, Tuesday, at 20:30.

We would call on all members whether current, past or future to attend what is a very important meeting.

Club Membership: Membership rates for the year are as follows:

Adult Player (Over 16) €80

Juvenile Player €45

Adult (Non Player) €50

Family (2 Non playing Adults and Children U16) €125

Social Membership €10

Gym €110

Deposit for Fob Card for GYM €20

Membership is due by March 17th and can be paid to any committee member.

Strength and Conditioning: What a turnout we had on Saturday afternoon at our Strength and Conditioning session. The increase in attendance week on week is a real hallmark of the determination our young players have to be fully prepared for the upcoming season.

Following Saturday’s session there was a presentation made to the person who was deemed to have put in the greatest effort over the hour.

Lauren Donnelly was the recipient of the training top after putting in a phenomenal effort. Lauren is one of the brightest talents coming through the ranks of the club having represented Meath U-12 Girls last year and been a crucial member of the Yellow Furze Girls Cumann na mBunscol winning sides in 2013 and 2014.

Judging by the talent and workrate she possesses Lauren is destined to be a star for both club and county for many years to come.

Lotto: The numbers drawn in this week’s Lotto were 4, 15, 23 and 26. There was no winner of the jackpot of €5,700. Next week’s jackpot will be worth €5,800. The 5 x €25 winners are Mal Hickey, Aine & Shane Clarke, Frank Collins, Joe O’Brien and The Two Mary’s.

Tickets for the Lotto are €2 or 3 for €5. They can be purchased from committee members, Lotto sellers, local shops or you can also play online at http://www.helpourclub.ie/localhome.asp?
