Meath Senior Football Championship: Hard luck to our Senior Men who were defeated by Skryne in Round of the Meath SFC in Stamullen on Sunday evening. With results elsewhere, we will now play Dunshaughlin in the Quarter-Finals of the Relegation Playoffs with the winner securing Senior status for 2022.

Premier Championship: Once again our Premier Championship teams had mixed fortunes over the weekend.
It was the misfortune for the Division 1 side who were well beaten by a fine Donaghmore/Ashbourne outfit on Thursday evening.

On Friday evening, the Division 4 team continued their march to the knockout stages with a hard fought win away to Oldcastle on Friday evening, coming out on top by 0-09 to 0-06. Leading 0-06 to 0-01 at half-time, the lads managed to control the game from there and win out by 3 points. It secures a place in the semi-final, with a victory in their last fixture crucial to ensure they have home advantage for that game.

The team and scorers on Friday night were: Robert Ruddy, Conor Cowley, Louie Healy, Colin Gleeson, Richard McKeown, Kevin Casey, Seanie Dalton, Damien Sheridan, Neil Darby, Oisín McEvoy (0-01), Will Finnegan (0-01), Brendan Lynch (0-03, 3f), Ben Kearney (0-01), James Conlon (0-03, 1f), Ronan Groome.

Subs: Daire Finnegan, Mark Gleeson, Dylan Geraghty

Meath LGFA Champiosnhip: Our Senior Ladies begin their quest for a 14th Meath LGFA Senior championship success when they face Boardsmill in Boardsmill in Round 1 next Sunday evening. The team had a decent league campaign, losing to eventual winners Oldcastle in the semi-finals.

The Ladies Junior C team will play St. Colmcille’s in Fr. Tully Park on Saturday evening at 5pm, looking to bounce back from an opening loss to Rathkenny/Slane.

Minor Boys: Hard luck to our Minor Boys who were lost to Dunshaughlin on Saturday in the opening round of the Minor Football Championship Division 1. The concession of 4first half goals ultimately put paid to any chance of victory, but the lads have two home games remaining in the group stages and will be still keen to make the semi finals.

U15 Boys: The U15 Football Championship Division 1 Round 2 game against Donaghmore/ashbourne is fixed for this Wednesday night at 7:00pm in Fr. Tully Park.
